Run With Friends
There are many advantages of running with a club. Our group
almost always includes others at your pace. You run
farther and faster with less effort while with other runners. Trading
conversation and training advice is always helpful. You will formulate
and attain your goals with the help of the group. Come out and see
what it is all about before joining the club if you prefer. We are
a friendly group of people united by our common interest in running!
The Wednesday Night Run is our central club event. The Raritan Valley
Road Runners have met weekly since 1983 for an unbroken streak of consecutive
Wednesday night runs! Come join us at 6:30 p.m.
Every Saturday morning, we meet in Johnson Park in Piscataway for a
group run.
During Daylight Saving Time, these
runs will be starting at 8 a.m. from Grove 5, just south of Landing
Lane. Runners should arrive by 7:50 a.m. for the 8 a.m. start.
During Standard Time, these runs
start at 9 a.m. from the Zoo parking lot (Grove 2), north of
Landing Lane and the Route 18 bridge.
Along with weekly runs, we also help support and run several races throughout the year. These include our Summer
Series XC Races and the East Brunswick Road Races.
Social Events
Run early? Work late? Even if you don't do the Wednesday Night Run you can meet us out for dinner in the New Brunswick area for good food, drink, and friends.

After each saturday morning run, many runners go out to either Somerset Diner or Neubies in New Brunswick. See the yahoo group
to see where we are going this week.
Food, Drink, and Socializing After Every Summer Series Race
The evenings of the Summer Series mean good times, on and off the cross-country course! Hot dogs, hamburgers, pizza and beer. Better than a baseball game any day!

Annual Awards Banquet Every February we cater a semi-formal annual awards

Quarterly General Membership Meetings
At our Quarterly Membership Meetings, the board updates all the members on all the status of the club. In addition there is some form of entertainment
that ranges from talent shows to guest speakers to member race stories. And there is always plenty of food to fill you up.

Preview Midland Run Brunch, May
An RVRR tradition - we preview the Midland Run course on the Saturday of the weekend before the event. After the run
we have brunch at a members home.
Midland Run Picnic, May
Following the Midland Run, the club puts together a picnic and party at Mooreland Farms, arguably the most beautiful race site
in NJ. If you have nonrunning members of your family and the kids, or other signifigants, this is the event to bring them
to!
You don't have to run a step of the 0-34 miles this day could offer you. Come to the picnic after the race, in Johnson
Park. Always a great afternoon of relaxing, eating, drinking, and new friends.
