Run With Us on Wednesdays!

The Wednesday Night Run is our central club event. The Raritan Valley Road Runners have met weekly since 1983 for an unbroken streak of consecutive Wednesday night runs! Come join us at 6:30 p.m.

Starting May 26th, 2009 and continuing until the fall we will be at Grove 5

Wednesday Night Club Run Meets at Johnson Park, Grove 5

The Wednesday Night Club Run meets at Johnson Park's Grove 5 in Piscataway, NJ at 6:30 PM between the months of June and September. Arrive before 6:30. Arrive before 6:30. We meet in the parking lot off of Landings Lane near the restrooms and the pavilion. See map below for location of Grove 5 or Click Here for a larger map.

Sometimes Grove 5 is inaccessible to vehicular traffic due to the Parks Dept. closing it. When this is the case please park at the Tennis Court Parking lots by Grove 2 (see map below for location), which is reachable via River Road. In the rare case when the Parks Dept closes everything in Johnson Park, please park in Buccleuch Park.

One can either run through Johnson park or go out-and-back on the Delaware & Raritan Canal Towpath. Typical distances down the Towpath vary from 3 to over 20 miles and runners of all levels are welcome!  Rest rooms are available at the start and along the way, but they close for the season in early November.
