15th Annual Chimney Rock 5-ish Miles Trail Race

Description: Don’t be fooled by the relatively short distance of this race.  This great 5 Miler manages to pack in all forms of trail running to test even the most seasoned trail junkies.  On the single track course you will encounter rocks, gnarly roots, rolling hills, stream crossings, a few climbs, and some speedy (scary) rocky downhill descents!  Course marshals will be stationed throughout the race, in addition to the well-marked trail, to provide assistance and direction.  A water stop will also be available, and you will pass there twice at Miles 1.5 and 4.

Chimney Rock Trail Series 10K & 5K - Coming Fall 2024

When:  Fall 2024 -10K starts at 9am & 5K starts at 9:30

You loved the Chimney Rock 5 Miler race so much that we decided to make a 10K and 5K race with MORE climbing and MORE ROCKS spread out into different sections of the Washington Valley Park.

These great 10K and 5K distances manage to pack in all forms of trail running to test even the most seasoned trail junkies.  On the single track course you will encounter rocks, gnarly roots, rolling hills, stream crossings, a few climbs, and some speedy (scary) rocky downhill descents!  

A pre-race briefing email will be sent Wednesday Night before the race with all relevant details.

Check-In will start at 8:00 AM for both races
